That would majorly suck. I think I'll keep my SUV where I can travel in my own seat...uncrowded...don't have to wait for it...and ride INSIDE.

I wonder how often people fall off between stops when they're hanging on the sides like that.

Looks like a good reason not to build mass-transit systems in our towns so that we never have to put up with all the pushing and shoving. .

Well at least not like that, not sure if there are just too many people or poorly designed system or some of both.

But if your town had them and you drove, less traffic for you on the roads. It has always amazed me how far behind America is in a lot of that compared to other countries.

This is nothing, people!! In Moscow and St. Petersburg when in a rush hour that train stops and you don't get out within the 5 seconds of the doors' opening, the people that are waiting to get in, just carry you back in... I mean, I've had this happen with me several times, and those were seriously elderly women that carried me back in.... Not kidding you!!!!

It's a sad thing those train cars don't have doors in Mumbai tho'....

OK and I hate Tokyo trains at rush hour but that is much worse. At least in Tokyo there are doors that must be closed for it to move.

This is just another reminder of how damned lucky we are. I think I will refrain from EVER complaining about traffic after seeing that.

    for a week.

I remember a poll the LA Times ran years ago; they asked three questions:

1: Should LA build a large mass transit system to reduce auto pollution and traffic -YES
2: Would you pay taxes to develop this - HELL NO
3: Would you use it - NO, I'd USE THOSE NICE,EMPTY FREEWAYS.

We really can't win until I take over completely - THEN WATCH OUT
