Just killed himself. Unbelievable, I am just shocked. The guy had four kids. They'll just be lost without him. I just don't understand how people can lose all hope like that, it's just not in my nature to ever give up and quit. The guy had had financial problems for years, and his ex had really played with his mind a lot. But still, you got kids, people that love you unconditionally, you never give up. This guy was, bar none, the best pure salesman I've ever met.

    Unbelievable.

Oh No! I'm so sorry, for you, his children and those left to mourn and wonder.

A dear friend of mine did 'it' a few months ago the only way I found to pull myself out of the despair, the 'why's' and the 'guilt' was to accept she had choices and it was her final decision.
But, accepting is the hardest thing.

Do they lose all hope, or just get tired of the battle, we'll never know.

I feel for you EC and people he touched in his life.

No words that I can put down here will fix this, or even help to make things better, so I'll just say how sorry I am to hear this and that my thoughts are with you.

I am sorry to hear about your friend.

Suicide is such a selfish thing. It leaves those who are left behind with such a sense of why and how could they do such a thing, and how could they not have seen it coming.

I really feel for you and his family and friends.

Just hold on to the fact that it will get easier as time goes on.

May I offer you my most heartfelt condolences. May he rest in peace. I was at a funeral similar in nature on Friday.

Let it be a reminder to all of us left behind, of our own mortality and to cherish all whom we hold dear.

Thanks, everyone, for your thoughts. I'm okay, just really sad for his kids. He just never got over his divorce, he couldn't let go of the emotion and it just dragged him down. Some people are like that, I guess, they just fixate on how bad things are, and they don't stop and realize all the positives that exist in their life. I'm kind of angry about that, I mean, his youngest kid is only 6 or so years old, and this will just ruin the little fellow.

I think that's it precisely. It can be a downward cycle because ultimately depression feeds back into itself. The only way to get out of the spiral is to want to get out of it, and some people just don't seem to want it.

    Tragic.

Our thoughts go out to all the people and family that knew the man and hope that time will heal the hurt that they no doubt feel.

It was so cold last winter that I saw a lawyer with his hands in his own pockets.

Until you've walked in another mans shoes it is easy to critcise. I don't agree with what he did, but life's circumstances don't always allow such an easy way to make things better.

Who says I haven't walked a mile in those shoes?

It's a senseless waste.. but from the point of view of the person suffering from depression it really does seem like an answer - which is why it's so tragic.

My prayers are with his children, and anyone else in the same place.

No offence on my post was intended Dynamoo. I sort of had a feeling this post was going to evolve into stuff that shouldn't be said.

I should have just let it lie. Some things going on here got the better of me for a brief moment.
However we were sincere on our thoughts for the ones having to deal with his passing.
