Only Natural Pet has 63 popups when I click the link on the SAS website and on my site.

    Yes, that one.
I clicked that link and I got 51 popups

One link 'tells' me -- 'The window is busy. If I close the window it may cause problems'

So why did you come here to tell us about the problem, instead of going directly to the merchant to complain? Or did you complain to the merchant and they didn't help you?

BTW, you need to check your computer for adware, spyware and viruses.

If you felt you were picked on, it's not a newb thing

You posted a sas merchant has 63 popups

C'mon - what merchant in the whole world would have 63 popups???

Even those XXX sites (I never visit) don't have 63 popups

    So...

In essence - I am telling a lie?

    I called the merchant

    I wrote to SAS

    I posted here

    All the while fabricating?

My time is too precious to waste

My (brand new) computer is on the verge of exploding

and you - in a round about way - say that I am lying about the popups.

If I were going to lie - I would say somrthing like "I made $3,522 last month" (instead of the actual $4.55)

I had the audacity to think I could get some assistance.

Had I not posted the name, that would have been the topic.

Whenever someone post here without naming names that is the problem.

YES, I DO GET 63 POPUPS WHENEVER I CLICK THE LINK

If I do have Spyware or addware, it is only affecting that merchant.

No other link(s) give me any problems

63 or 51 pop ups? I'm only getting one, which is blocked for me. If you're getting that many, usually something on your end somewhere or others would be seeing it too.

It's possible that the spyware/adware is programmed to only pop on that particular merchant (and possibly other merchants you haven't visited). My guess is that a parasite slipped into their affiliate program.

My suggestion would be to open a support ticket with SAS, have them look into it, and hopefully they'll remove any parasites. It's possible your email to them just slipped through the cracks. It happens sometimes.

Oh, and definitely do a spyware scan!

    Groin,

Download Ad-Aware -> http://www.lavasoftusa.com/products/ad_aware_free.php Run a scan and then post the results after you clean your machine.

Welcome to ABW -- if you email me haiko at/abestweb you old username I'll merge the old and new account if you'd like.

    Cool
I only get one blocked also.

It must be something on your computer.

I guess this is another one of those bash the merchant threads that we don't need when the problem is on your end and not the merchant.

Then it's something on your end. Just start running scans, should come up with something. Not sure what you have already on you computer to scan but there are some free ones like Spybot, Ad-Adware than you can get from download.com and other places. Let us know what they show afterwards, curious as to what you got.

I don't think he came to bash, just to compare notes. If others were seeing the same, then it would be a problem with the merchant. If you're the only one seeing it, your end.

OK, I turned on my popup blocker (I forgot I had one) - one popup was blocked when I click my link

When the popup blocker is off -- I get 63 when I click my link (51 when I click the link here)

One question I just thought of... what did the pop ups contain? Were they all ads for the merchant or were they totally unrelated?
