It has come to my attention that some of us fine ABW members may be operating from behind bars. You've all heard the rumors, right? Hey... all you need is a keen mind, a computer and an Internet connection to cash in as an affiliate. Why not make some dough while doin' time in the slammer???

So, here's my question: Who here is currently behind bars? Follow up question... Which of you are part of my affiliate program???

I admit it, I am an affiliate behind bars. I was arrested for impersonating a comedian.

My best affiliate programs are "Lingerie for Men" and the "Soap-On-a-Rope" affiliate programs.

I was behind the Iron-Curtain in East Germany, does that count?

East Berlin in particular. You know, the part of Berlin which was not encircled by the Berlin Wall and barbwired Fences on the other side.

It was funny though, because it was not build to keep the West-Berlin people in, but to keep the East german people out hehe.

I thought it was build to keep the East German people IN ?

Although, the correct terms would probably be "people living in East Germany", and "people living in West Germany" rather than "East German people" and "West German people", as it was just a line drawn on a map one day.

That's in the eye of the beholder hehe.
The Wall was going through Berlin. Barbed Wires exist everywhere else.
West Berlin was surrounded by it. To keep the East Germans out or inside the outer walls ... hard to tell hehe.

Lets put it this way, it was build to keep the west germans out.

The odd thing was, that the West germans were able to pass that barrier whenever they wanted, but the east germans were not.

That raised some questions in the east-german population, wich were answered in 1989

I would agree, but you will be surpised, what 45 years of separation and living in every different societies does to people.
They are different. And it will take one or two more generations to overcome that.

I've tried running my affiliate business from behind bars - but customers kept spilling their beer on my laptop.

Obviously Charlie would qualify for the status of being a "Behind Bars" affiliate. Rather than just charging inmates for his variety humor shows or pushing dope & prison made beer he has turned his life around and operates a legit affiliate web site (no B-a-HO's or coupons allowed). His parrot tracks are all over EcomCity.com and you'll support his rehab by shopping there. The guys livin large in the next cell are still running charity and reward scams with hidden BHO installs from drive-bys, popups, porn spam and P2P file sharing partnerships.

Mike (and Charlie)....I'm sure those parasites will be relieved when they learn that they will be able to continue their parasitic ways after they all end up behind bars. Of course they won't have be running the same parasitic companies that put them behind bars in the first place, but you know they will always be working on a new way to rip people off.

To this day I regret never visiting Berlin, either pre- or post- iron curtain. I lived in Vienna 20 years ago when Austria still enjoyed a strange status as a kind of buffer between East and West. I lived in Germany for 3 years but never got to Berlin.
I visited Budapest when it was still communist and spent a year in post-communist Czech Republic. But Checkpoint Charlie I never saw and I especially regret that since it was named after a truly great parrot.....
    I feel like I'm behind bars in my J.ust O.ver B.roke...

The state pennitentary in La has a huge annual event. A big rodeo. All the riders are inmates and it's open to the public. Draws a rather large crowd.....

    fcol,

Good point. I think I saw a "rodeo" like the one BLFH is describing on the show Oz once.

What are yall talkin about? Haven't you never had the privaledge of going to a rodeo???? Bull ridin, steer wrestling, calf roping, etc.

The Angola rodeo is quite entertaining, and yes, the prisoners are riding bulls and horses, and so on. When I went, it was the rodeo's first year in the new stadium built by the prisoners.
