    ftp access
I have been trying to use my ftp program (FileZilla) to access the datafeeds that I have permission to access. The response is "530 Not logged in". Is this not the way it is done? Do I need to do something else?

I have down loaded datafeeds and I can post them to my blog through a script or add them to a regular site.

Maybe I am just confused on how to use the ftp system in the first place. I have tried to read most of the posts that seem to discuss this, but maybe I missed something. Just point me in the right direction and I'll keep trying.

    FTP Server: datafeeds.shareasale.com

I have entered the correct user name and password, but alas no go.

    Thanks for any help,
    Sharan

Being a poor little ole country boy, I try to do things as simply as possible
even if it takes more steps.

I never try to direct ftp the datafeed to my site as I may need to tinker
    a little bit.
First, I down load the text file to my computer.......
do whatever tinkering that I know how to do to the datafeed file .........
then do an upload to my website

Using this method, I do need to stay on top of datafeed updates

    Thanks Witzer for your reply.

I guess that's what I'll continue doing also.

    Maybe I could do that?
