Question adding your pid at the end of url?
Can you add your pid (?pid=0000000) at the end of any CJ merchant websites page and it will track or does this only work on some merchants? Example:

    www cjmerchant com/jeans/?pid=0000000

Of course I know that I have to be in their program.

Even if it tracks, that would be solely based on trust isn't it. CJ won't be aware of it and it is up to the merchant whether they would like to pay you for it. There would be no purpose of going through CJ and paying them a cut then.

It will definitely not work for pixel tracking merchants. It might work for some batch tracking merchants.

You need to look for the statement "merchant allows url redirects" or something like that, when you look at the link description.

Merchants that "get it" allow affiliate to deep link directly to the page that offers the product the affiliate is highlighting.

You will have to contact the individual merchant. It's something they would have to setup on their end. I know of one that you can do it with on CJ and that's CafePress.

Cafepress is a good example of the importance of the ability to deep link to any page on a merchant's site. :^)
