    Ok,

Let's see who are the true SEO gurus and who can market a product in a "perceived" competitive market.

All things being equal, SEO efforts, establsished affiliates, perceived market saturation aside. Let's see who is who and who can make the money.

I will pay $40.00 per sale on this product. Yes, $40.00 bucks per sale. That's 40% commission. I am raising the price point to $99.99, we have a reason for having to do this. It's not because of the extra $10.00 bucks, we need to do it for contractual reasons.

    Full page creatives are here:

    KB: http://www.tigerdirect.com/email/kb/...py.asp?ID=KBID

    and

    http://www.tigerdirect.com/email/kb/dvdx.asp?ID=KBID

    For BF:

    http://www.tigerdirect.com/email/aff...sp?ID=INSERTID

    and

    http://www.tigerdirect.com/email/aff...sp?ID=INSERTID

You have 4 full page creatives, you have banners, you have a nice cash incentive - $40.00. per sale.

This is by far the biggest spiff we have ever offered, the biggest we will probably ever offer on a $99 item.

Show me what you can do !!

    Hi Andy,

just to make sure I understand corectly.
I can use one of 2 BF links above to direct visitors to, just replacing INSERTID with my BeFree ID for my DVD website (this site is signed up for TigerDirect with BF)?
I don't need to use BF to generate the link and can just use
    http://www.tigerdirect.com/email/aff....asp?ID=MYBFID
    for directing visitors?

    Correct?

You are correct. That will work for this creative. This is not to be used with any other BF merchants, or other BF Tiger creatives. We tweak and modify the standard BF code to populate the entire creative when we host it.

Follow that formula nd check out for yourself in your browser. Insert any 8 digit number and load in your browser window. Go to view sorce and check it out.

I want to understand the product a little more.

Can I say, take my Stars Wars DVD movie, copy it to my harddrive and burn it to another DVD? Can I copy an XBOX game the same way?

    Andy,
You stated there were banners available for this promo, at least that is how I interpreted your post. Can I get them through BF?

There are forums available on 321 Studios site. http://dvdxcopy.afterdawn.com/

You CANNOT copy xbox or playstation games (http://dvdxcopy.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/22878) (nor should you be able to).

Not really relevant, but, Pete, Why should you be able to copy movies but not games? Makes no sense to me. If you should be able to do one for backup purposes, why not the other?

I wonder about promoting a product like this as the people who use these kinds of products would probably just use a pirated copy of the product anyway, right? Then again the people who are serious about pirating movies use much better products..so..maybe it will still sell well to people who don't know better?

    Opinions?

I'm sure that some will use it for making illegal copies though, still an average car you buy can probably go about 110MPH that'd be illegal in all but a few desert areas in the US, but the carmaker can't be held responsible if you speed.

my roommate is one of those fanatics - his entire cd collection has two dupes - one in offsite storage "just in case" and one for actual use (the originals are kept in the basement).
