    Glossy Looking Page Like Tabs
I don't have any real fancy graphics software, but I would like to create some liquid looking page tabs. I kind of like those tabs that look shiny or wet. Is my only option Photoshop? Not that I have the money for that.

An easy way in photoshop is to simply open a new layer on the button and have make a rectangle 1/2 the height of the button, but the full width. Fill that rectangle with white and drop the opacity down till it looks shiny.

    Hope that helps!

    Hello,

Photoshop is a great option but rather expensive. Just recently I downloaded the 30 day free trial of Paint Shop Pro to be able to work with some images that I want to print out. I really like it. It doesn't not have all of the bells and whistles of Photoshop but it's not bad. Much to my surprise, at the end of the 30 day trial, they give you the opportunity to extend the trial for another 30 days or purchase for $59. You may want to try the free download for the trial period and see if you like it.

    Hope this helps.

There are a bunch of free online options for creating glassy buttons, which could easily be modified into tabs.

Here is one that I've used:

    http://www.netdenizen.com/buttonmill/glassy.php

    Just search for "glassy buttons".
There's good, fast and cheap. Pick any two.

    Like this?

    Or something else?

If that is what you are looking for, I can make some for you in 5 minutes- just tell me what colors you want (I just did a test with basic silver). I'll PM you the images if this is what you are talking about. It's more metallic than "wet" so if it's not what you need, best of luck!

The glassy buttons page isn't mine. I wish it was.
