    Anybody doing Google Referrals?
So this thread got me thinking

Is anybody running Google referrals and have you been successful at it?

I them for a little while and was total unsuccessful in running them.

I have only a couple Google Referrals on one of my sites. As I mentioned in that other thread, there are not enough referrals to make them targeted.

Honestly? No. At least not yet.

My main concern was not knowing how long the commission tracking lasted. Donuts helped by explaining they last 30 days.

Regardless, as Lost Deviant stated, the system still seems to be too new. I briefly looked for ads relating to my very targeted niche but only one or two ads had anything to do with my site.

A relatively interesting concept but it's not for me at this time. Maybe as a merchant eventually as long as I do PPC as well but it's not on my main to do list.

I started using them 2 days ago, but after over 2000 impressions and $0.00 I'm considering yanking them.

I've had them on a niche site where there were a few matching products but no sales yet. To be honest I had only thrown up some banners and not really tried this in depth yet.
The problem I saw initially with this was Google recomended putting the adverts along with some copy specifically as a product referral, obviously as this is likely to be more compeling. So you would choose what to advertise but the ads would still rotate in the style of adsense showing the best performing ads. So you then have your glowing product referral but the adverts gone missing with something else in its place, all be it something related to the niche.

One thing that I have wondered, does having the "Referral ads by Google" on the bottom of all the ads hurt potential sign-ups/sales?

I had these ads for about 2-3 weeks on my site but not one click so I took them off.
