    Big difference in PopShops stats
I'm seeing a big difference in the number of clicks PopShops is reporting and the number that the networks are showing. For example, yesterday I had approx. 130-140 clicks through PopShops on a particular site. CJ is showing only 15. Another site had 70+ PopShops clicks and CJ showed 24. Today, I just checked SAS. I have 7 clicks, but PopShops reports 10.

I've tested my shops and they seem to go to the landing page just fine and the click registers in PopShops. I just tested a PopShops link to SAS and the click registered in SAS. So, I don't know what is happening to cause this. Is anybody else seeing this?

Do you think you could have looked at the PopShops "views" instead of the "clicks"?

Are the networks reporting unique clicks and Popshops isn't?

Nope, I'm positive I was looking at clicks. Is there any way to export stats to Excel or something? That might help me analyze things better.

That was something I considered, but I haven't tested that yet. I always thought CJ counted every click and not just uniques. Perhaps that's not the case? I'm in the process of testing that with SAS right now...

We've found that in the case of large differences, it is because of search engines crawling and clicking. We are working on our solution to that.

Ah! And the networks would probably recognize it as a bot and not count the click, right? That makes sense. Thanks, Jessie!
