Direct Deposit in nine new banking countries
Commission Junction has updated our payment method options; publishers are now able to choose to receive payment via direct deposit in nine new banking countries. Direct deposit offers fast and free delivery of your commissions earned through Commission Junction. Payments are made after the 20th of every month.

To update your payment setting to direct deposit, log in to your CJ Account Manager™, click on the Account Tab, select Edit Payment Information and update the Payment Method. Be sure the banking information you enter meets unique banking country’s information format requirements. Visit the Help link that appears at the top right hand side of your CJ Account Manager. Search by Publisher Payment Options for your country’s bank information format requirements.

Switch to direct deposit before October 15, 2007 and receive your next commission payment by direct deposit. For additional information please review our FAQ.
Great news for some people :d

I just read it. This is absolutely fantastic. In the last couple of years I've asked CJ for it several times after again missing a check. And finally they made it available. Wow.
No more missing checks, delays, high costs to cash, etc. Great news

Wished to discuss this subject for a long time already! And here have appeared Direct Deposit CJ news! I wrote much support issue to CJ on this subject, and is assured that this innovation has appeared not without my participation!

News can be read on this page CJ Direct Deposit News (all CJ publishers should be notified)!
Many countries are added! I wish to notice, that many currencies also are added:
    CH (CHF) - added
    DE (EUR)
    GB (GBP)
    GB (EUR) - added
    NL (EUR)
    SE (SEK)
    AU (AUD) - added
    FR (EUR)
    CA (USD) - added
    CA (CAD)
    NZ (NZD) - added
    AT (EUR)
    ES (EUR)
    IE (EUR)
    US (USD)
    But there is some question:
    1. Why, for example in GB it is possible to receive Direct Deposit only in EUR or GBP? After all I can open the UK account in USD! In the same Canada, for example, is DD in USD and CAD!
    2. Somebody receives DD from Linkshare? I do not know, but Linkshare writes on checks that before receiving Direct Deposit it is necessary "Review Direct Deposit Agreement". Somebody read this agreement? As far as I know at CJ such agreement is not present!
Since payments under checks can be withdrawn (chargeback) then there is a question - whether payments through Direct Deposit can be somehow withdrawn (chargeback)? Because I know, that it is impossible on Wire Transfer (SWIFt) withdraw (chargeback) money without the consent of the addressee!
P.S. Linkshare, by the way, for a long time already pays to NewZeland and also Mexica via Direct Deposit!

You would think that if they've added Euro's for the UK, they'd do the same for Switzerland also.

But still, a good move towards the 21st century!

Good toward, but my banking country isn`t present! And i think will not present in a near future!
My bank accepts checks with the big unwillingness! All activity connected with the Internet at them causes the big suspicions! It is connected first of all with a pornography and gambling! Though I do not have such payments, nevertheless it is difficult to perceive them it normally!
Besides the check is cashed - from 1 about 3 months is very long for any business!

    I don`t think so!
I think, I will open more faster US, UK or Austria bank account!
Air1985! Whether has CJ or other companies what pay you via Direct Deposit to withdraw (chargeback) money from your bank account without your consent to it! Because the check gives it such possibilities!

I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you residing in Europe?

Because it would be easier for you to open an account there, however you can also take a flight (if you can afford it) to any country in Europe with your Passport and try to open a bank account there. You can google some banks in European countries, call them and ask them and that's it. It's not that complicated. I remember I called once to Barclays which is in UK and they explained exactly what I need to bring over in order to have an account with them. Eventually I didn't do it but I had the option to open the account with them. So maybe this info might help you with it. GL

If you think that I have not studied this question - then you are mistaken!
I was engaged in it a floor of year (!) I communicated with 6-7 consulting agencies... Then they have responded me:
    1. Your activity - Internet marketing! All banks sceptically concern any activity connected with the Internet. Especially banks do not wish to deal with pornosites, casino, etc.
    2. Which they can earn those changes on me there is no their millions-strong reputation! For Barclays - in general it is possible to forget - unless in the long term, after at least 1 year of activity of your company!
