I feel I'm in some kind of Bermuda Triangle
Okay, not the Bermuda triangle, but yesterday I realized my house was smack dab in the middle of a triangle only a couple of miles wide that includes the corporate offices of Giftcertificates.com, Netshops.com and Godfathers corporate office. The local Linkedin.com office is also just a few blocks away.

So far there have been no mysterious disaperances in this triangle (although I keep losing socks in the dryer), so I guess I'm safe here in the suburbs of Omaha, but it is wierd to be within a couple of miles of each of these companies.

Okay, one could argue the safeness or relative merits and demerits of living ANYWHERE in Omaha, but I'll leave that alone.

(Except to say: As a young child, I had some very traumatic experiences in Omaha.)

But, hey, that reference to Godfathers got my attention. Hmmm. Pizza.

    Gary,

Sorry to hear about your bad experiences here in Omaha as a child. I've lived here most of my life and have found it a wonderful place to live and raise a family. Although the town is growing like crazy, it still retains much of its small town values.

    So true Ron,

Omaha has always hit me as a great place for families. Though I would never trade my CO home to move there, I truly appreciate the environment in the Omaha area.

I'm sure that even if things begin to mysteriously disappear, tracking will not be affected.

That's what got my attention. They sell that at a local gas station here and it's actually pretty good.

Godfathers started here Omaha originally back in 1973 by Willy Thieson. It's a facinating story if you care to read about it

I believe the corporate office has always been in Omaha and in the last year they built a brand new building to house it just a few blocks from my house.

VampireSkunk says: beware food sold at gas stations. There are lots of nasty chemicals in petrol vapour and they permeate food sold at gas stations.

I hate to ask, but do Pizza and Omaha belong in the same sentence?

I've had Godfather's Pizza in Omaha, and it wasn't pretty.
