Just recently there have been posts
about "Data Feeds".

This term is new to me. Can someone
explain them. Tell me where we access
them on CJ and how to use them?

Thanks,
Anne

The datafeed contains all the product links for every merchant you are affiliated with, they come in seperate files. You need to email prod@cj.com with your PID number, asking them to update your datafeed. You can access your datafeed at the following url,

http://prod.cj.com/flatfile/******** replace ******* with your PID number

Yes prod@cj.com works for me, I didn't receive any email the last time they updated my datafeed, so check your datafeed page at http://prod.cj.com/flatfile/****** it might just be there.

After I contacted them I had to wait 3 days the first time.
My datafeed was then activated 24 hours later.
Each time I have contacted them since, i am contacted and updated within 24 hours.
Yes, I also use prod@cj.com
Be patient, they will get to you soon

So, what good is it? What do you use it for? Does it include advanced links you made yourself?

It does not include links you have made yourself. It is a database dump that you can use as you see fit.

Well gosh darnit, I emailed them and asked to set me up. Just got a reply that they are upgrading the Datafeed feature and can not set me up until after November.

Yeah damn it! I was hoping to spend the rest of the month coding php to use the datafeed but now I'll have to wait and probably miss the holiday rush

I got the same response about them not doing the data feed until November.

Todd or David: Any comment on this?
