Just out of curiosity, does anyone know why many merchants with datafeeds through CJ don't bother updating them? Especially the "larger" ones.
I don't use catalog city (ick) , but they are a prime example of how not to do it.
9,885,465,854,752,665 products and like 3 in stock.
It common with many merchants though.

Part of the problem with Catalog city is their feed has the same products listed in there 2 and 3 times. They don't actually have as many products as they claim.
I have heard that some update the feed daily. San Francisco Music Company does according to what they told me. Others probably do it weekly or monthly or whenever they think of it.
They should be required to update it a minimum of Weekly if they are gonna have products set up online.
I also wish it was easier to get our updated feeds. I've written to cj twice this week and not heard a thing back. I am still attempting to get the feed for Goldenmine which I was notified of it being updated and also to get my hands on the new feed offered from one of my other favorite merchants
