Making a large table from many small ones
- Join Date

I am using the php script featured on the forum for import from shareasale to mysql. Its working great however, I was wondering how I would make a full text indexed (including description and product) table from all the merchants that I promote to have a large "virtual mall". I was going to use a merge table but from what I have gathered I cannot have the text fields on the merge table indexed and therefore cause problems with search results. Is this correct? Am I on the right track or should I just use a join or other SQL query for each table?
I appreciate any info anyone can share on this subject.

You would use a JOIN to join the tables left to right. The main table would have a foreign key (usually numeric) over to the joined table.
More than likely you would use a UNION statement to join them top to bottom.
