    New Feature Request
A month ago, I posted "I'm updating my Military Gifts section. Any ABW merchants have anything military related?"

Doing the same thing today - my men's section.

I would love to post my url so these merchants can tell right away if they have anything that matches, but I can't.

If there was a way to ask, and show the url - but only merchants see it, it would be a great tool.

LOLOL - I just thought of the solution! I get a 5 minute pass to the Merchant forum... post my url... steel a beer from the merchant lounge... and zip on back to the normal forum

Billy I can see the need for that myself. I am working on a site that a lot of stores would love to be on but odds are they are not gonna know about it. I am sure I will be leaving money on the table because I cant contact every AM I know

    This can be set up!

Let me work on it, I'll have to tweek the permissions to ensure that the URLs are only seen by AMs, I'll try to have something next week.

This would be a generous gift to buy then send overseas for the military people.

I, too, can see reason for something like that. Coincidently, today I have begun developing an URL into a small shopping directory for a large minority group. The URL is the name of the minority group in a TLD other than com. I don't care to post it publicly, but it might be nice to have merchants and/or OPMs & AMs make suggestions if there is a good fit.

Another coincidence: the Military theme post that Billy K mentioned had a response form one AM that gave ma an idea. I put up a 4-item Make-A-Page and had a sale within 24 hours - just 'cause the item was there (no PPC).

To muddy the waters a bit more, I wouldn't want a lot of "spammy" responses. At this point I would care to hear primarily from SAS merchants.

    Life's a trade-off (and it's easy to block liquidate - lol)

As of now, the only other option is to manually go to a network, click EVERY merchant you belong to and manually contact them and ask.

SAS was an hour of my time this morning. I got up to the "C"s in Linkshare before I decided to post here.

I'd trade a few spams for saving 4 hours of drudge work

Good idea. I often get emails from affiliates saying they did not know the merchant sold a certain item too.

Sometimes there are items that do not even match the vertical or even domain name but have items hidden deep on the site or not often promoted or seen. Example EF sells furniture but also sells live plants and water dispenser so even though they are kind of related because they are items within the home who would think that a furniture domain or furniture merchant would carry that item too.
