    From UK foreign office:

...We therefore advise against travel to Kuwait. If you are already in Kuwait, you should leave urgently while commercial flights remain available.
Dependants of staff in the Embassy in Kuwait have left. We are in the process of reducing our staffing to a core. Once we do so, our ability to offer normal consular services will be very restricted...

All foreigners in Kuwait have been advised to evacuate ASAP due to threat of chemical weapons attacks. The UN inspectors flew out 5 of their 7 hilocopters Sunday along with some of the inspectors when the insurance on them was cancelled. It would make sense to drop food and small arms weapons and bullets to the pro-western Kurdish forces from the stockpile that was going to the Turkish bases. Anyone who truly hates the Saddam regime and willing to fight should be supported.

I'm sure the Turks have some plans on taking over and ruling the Kurdish areas with some thinly disguised plan to protect the few Turkmen living there.

If someone's going to overthrow him, they need to be doing it right now. It seems to be the only way to avoid a lot of killing.
