I just got my record sale size today for over $1200... I'm thinking it must be fraud since my average sales size are around 60bucks...

so... I'm expecting a reversal, but have all my fingers and toes cross for it being legit. even my eyes crossed!!! LOL

I would think even if it was legit, the merchant might just reverse it anyways since the commsiion for me is like 250bucks. ah well...

Congrats on the nice sale!

Hopefully, it's legit.

Be prepared for the worst, and then if it isn't rejected, do something nice for yourself to celebrate.

wtg! Best I ever had was a $1,350 sale, I was SURE it would be rejected, but that puppy locked. So hold your breath, but you might have something there!

congrats to peego

This thread has started me thinking - which merchant programs out there sell the highest ticket items?

I wouldn't mind trying to grab 10% of a $20,000 sale!

Incidentally, I saw a post somewhere concerning the highest priced book available at amazon - i forget the title, but it was about $2500 - 15% of that would be nice.

I actually tried to find it, but it seems they dont have that title anymore

Yep, I am adding higher priced stuf in my new Pagan and Wiccan Fashion Clothing area. I am hoping for bigger and better, too.

I had been wondering what the most expensive product item I could find on CJ was.. so far the most expensive are this electric chair from Catalog City, at a cool $14,900 with 5% commission which is $745.00, some sort of router from AlphaCraze at $28,185.74 ($1,691.14 commission).

Can anyone beat that.. better still.. can anyone SELL one

I just sold my highest, which was about $895. I just started a few months ago though. Is there a time limit that the merchants have to reverse a sale? Or can they do it whenever they want?

I love the high-end items;)
The biggest sale I've had so far
was for $7864.56...and it went through!

I started to flog bullet-proof cars at
around $150K but they closed the affiliate
program lol!
Now that would have been sweet!

You didnt really think music123 would let you keep a sale for that amount did you?

Dont tell haiko, he'll invite them here and give them elite member status and tell you theyre great if he thinks he can get a few bucks out of them. like he did with these http://abw.infopop.cc/6/ubb.x?a=tpc&...9&m=6676021321

I've had sales in excess of $2000 go thru for Music123 ... Call them after the sale and push them to "make it happen"

Harry ... I think that has been addressed ... Any merchant who registers here gets that status because of their entrance into the Affiliate Manager Forum ... Get off it.

And I have talked to the new Music123 Affiliate Marketing Manager and she asked me what the single most inportant thing She could do to improve the program. I said ... Cut out the "Can't ship .. Sold out BS" and found out higher cost items are custom orders and don't ship as fast as "in stock" items.

Bottom line: Focus on lower cost items.

I also had a sale at about $2000 with music123, and it's just got reversed 2 days ago, I don't get why did it take them 21 days (after the sale was made) to find out that they can't ship / not in stock or whatever

that's the problem with affilate marketing, you can't celebrate good sales until the 10th of the next month

A transaction for a sale worth $1200 is very good. The record stands at over $100,000 for a single sales transaction. Large transactions are good because they lead to high commissions but they do not happen very often - if they did it would never be often enough.

Congrats Peego! That's worth celebrating this
weekend

I've had a couple of big ticket sales over
the $1,000 range at iFloor.com. Think people
are interested in doing-it-themselves flooring
products right now due to the economy. They don't happen often - but when they do it's a very good thing

With my best,

Since there are a lot of music123 affiliates here, can someone say what they tend to reverse? For example, are electric guitars safe? Or electric drums? How do you know what they have in stock vs what they never have? ANd how do you reach the new affiliate mgr? Thanks.
