There are a number of threads on this subject, but they are over 2 years old. I need some up to date input.
I am choosing between 2 providers and would like to hear anyone comment about either. My choices are GoEmerchant and United bank esavings (an AuthorizeNet resaler)

You should research merchant accounts. Gateways are virtually the same, so you shouldn't have a problem there, although some have setup fees and some do not. I've never heard of united bank e. I can recall hearing about goe, but I cannot recall when and if it was good or bad.
Depending on your business, you will definitely need a professional to setup your merchant account for you to make sure that you get setup correctly.
