    Is this okay
Just thinking out loud..... I launched a new site and like the direction I went in, however my older domain is indexed with google, etc and needs a super major face lift. Is it okay to duplicate my new site under another domain name? I would basically change the logo and colors. is anything wrong with this?

You mean having the same exact content (minus logos and colors) on 2 different domains?

Not something I would do, usually search engines don't like duplicate content and you could get penalized for it.

Makes sense. Many of the links are the same because I use some of the same affiliates across sites. Do you think I should just redirect my older site to the new one? I have a few pages on the older site with high ranks I'm trying to keep this in tact. Also forgive me if I am not 100% clear, I am still learning the business, etc.

If you have the exact content then it's not a good idea. Google and the other major search engines will check their index of sites and the original sites that included the content are given much higher weight. Your new site will be pushed down in the rankings and many cases way down.
