    Is there a PPC Intro/Tutorial?
I'm finally ready to give PPC a try and I seem to remember reading a great PPC tutorial a while back.

I did a search on PPC but didn't find it.

Can someone point me to the article?

    Thanks!

Interesting problem.. How good can a PPC tutorial be if you can't find it while searching?

I had asked for it to be removed for personal reasons. It was one of the best threads I had posted here and completely helpful. But it promoted something I no longer believe in or wanted to put my name on as a referral.

Is there a way it could be rewritten to remove the thing you didn't want to promote anymore? Was the thread helpful enough in a general sense to warrant doing that? I've been planning on experimenting with PPC and would love to read it.

We need to start a REAL PPC 4 IDIOTS thread......

Kind of like the Analytics stuff Kev is doing.....

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the PPC Pros ROOOOL the affiliate marketplace....

There are NO SUPER AFFILIATES that don't use PPC as the backbone to their success.

Absolutely untrue. There are plenty of "super affiliates" that spend virtually nothing on PPC.

PPC is great for certain types of websites, but it's not a necessity for being a successful affiliate.

    I'm cool with your OPINION...

    Can you name one?

My main site is a PR5 with 1000's of pages of content.

I spent $70,000 in December to make $100,00....

I should be in Vegas now!!!!

    It's all about PPC now-a-days...

I can FTP a site and have it making money for me in an hour...

    Can't do that without PPC!

Uh...GirlyChecks.com is a new program and is not where I am raising my hand. I built and maintain my other sites (main sources of income) without PPC.

However, my main niche sites are so old that they - well, what can I say? They've been around a while - they work...here I am in Vegas (promoting the new program) and some folks back near the East Coast are booking a room in a hotel near the Baltimore Convention Center and on the Boardwalk in Ocean City; and even the occasional hotel near Ft. Sill, in Lawton, OK.

Sugarrae's site. 100k unique visitors per month and almost nothing spent on PPC.

And Jangro's site Costumzee.com is another example. Well over a million page views in the peak month, and almost all from organic traffic.

And of course there are sites like FatWallet too.

These are just a couple I could think of off the top of my head. I'm sure there are many others.

But anyway, let's get back on the topic of PPC.

    I said SUPER AFFILIATES!

100k uniques a month is chump change.

    SUPER AFFILIATES!

I love content sites, but the big boys are using PPC.....

Are we talking about making $5000 / month or $50,000 / month?

Okay, so you picked on the smallest of my 3 examples and ignored the other two.

Let's just get back to the PPC talk.
