Stating the Obvious for Xmas - but Worth Restating
If you've checked your stats... you've seen that visitors are coming out of the woodwork to your site.

Most of these visitors are first time visitors.

Make sure your site is worth bookmarking. Up to snuff! Nice looking.

Even if they don't buy today... for whatever reason, they found you... you must have something they want.

Make sure you make a good first impression so they'll come back in the future. If even 1/10th of the massive hordes coming in November come back in March, I'll be a happy camper

And give them an easy way to add you to their bookmarks and an email newsletter they can sign up for if they so choose

Billy if you make a quality site people come all year round. Another thing is I don't care if people bookmark my site as long as I have their email addy they are customers whenever I want them to be.

What about offering RSS feeds? I've never used them but they seem to be on a lot of sites. Is this an better way to reach out to people as opposed to the email list? Spam fears, prevent me from signing up for most lists, as I would think is the issue with most people.

I see far better results in my email list than my rss list. I am sure I could improve the rss but I don't see many people using it.

If your stats show you which pages are getting most of your hits... USE that info to your advantage!

If no one's going to your grandpa page... fine

But your stats show 150 people are finding your site thru your Uncle page each day... look at it. Make sure that page - which is technically acting as your front foyer, is perfect.

Are the products on your "Uncle" page up to date? Prices and coupons current?

If you use adsense or cpa ads - do the ones on your Uncle page relate to the content?

While I'm not suggestiong you put your 5 million other pages on hold... you have a 3 week window of opportunity to tweak the pages the masses are looking at.

    Your goal should be to

    1. Take advantage of the increased traffic to these particular pages to earn that much more revenue

    2. Give 'em a reason to come back in the future now that they know where you are. The person buying a Christmas gift for his Uncle today, may need a new baby gift for that same uncle later on. Or the uncle's son joins the army and they want something military related.

Make it an easy, pleasurable experience. Make sure they know you're open the whole year.

The hour you invest today tweaking should pay dividends throughout the next year
