    Any Good Children's Stories Online?
    Hey Everybody,

I have a webcall with my daughter every Tuesday and Thursday, and she loves it when I read her a story which she can follow along on her computer. I found this site: www.magickeys.com, but it is limited and only has a few words per page. I even tried buying two books and sending one to her.

Anyone know of any good sites? I don't mind paying if it's subscription based.

If not, can someone please make an affiliate site with this idea? I'm sure you could monetize it .

    -Mike

With all the content available on Project Gutenberg all it would take is time, would be very easy to do. I always wanted to do audio files, but have never heard of the webcalls idea where people could read along online.

Wish I had time! Sounds like a great idea.

I've found this site to be incredibly helpful for Gabriel (4), and it looks like it has stuff for older kids as well:

    Thanks Lox, Michael, and Rhia!

Michael, she loved the fact that if she couldn't pronounce the word, she could click on it. Once I got her to try first before clicking it worked out great .

    Thanks again!

    story sites
im interested in this thread for the info it offers and for what i can learn of other story sites,

and because ive just started a story site myself .. but the rules prevent me from directing you to where you can see it ..so it will have to remain a mystery i guess, unless the adminstrator becomes kindly.

Im a designer, illustrator and storyteller ( in pictures ) and my story site is children and family friendly and is for children and grown ups who keep the child in themselves, alive .

The story will appeal to folks who like whimsy, humor and gentle fantasy. It is an illustrated story in watercolors.

Have a good day everyone and since that time is almost upon us, have a very happy family Christmas.
