    New search box feature
Thank you to whoever thought to put the search box in the shop for autofeed. It is a fantastic feature!

FYI, if all our Enterprise users can't see this, it's a beta feature that has not been widely released.

    Hi,

The search feature will be released after the beginning of the year.

Not to seem too antsy :-), but we cannot wait for the new search feature to be active for all Enterprise users!!

Because autofeed can sometimes add 400 products under one category, our cutomers cannot locate anything they actually want without us manually breaking down into hundreds of navigational pages. The search feature will be huge as they can actually find the right item without hitting next, next, next, etc.

    Thanks for everything!!

I think a search function ought to be available to all paying members, not just enterprise.

We're still testing the search feature.

I would love to offer this to all users, but the expense to us are the requests added to our database, so it will likely be an Enterprise user feature.

ARRRGGGHHH! Please say it ain't so?? Us "pro" members that aren't yet able to upgrade to "enterprise" will weep over not having that search box feature.

We may be able to come up with a metered approach that allows customers who have lighter traffic to pay less. When we begin to roll it out, I can talk it through with those of you interested in helping me come up with a fair approach.

I've actually been thinking about putting together a steering committee to help prioritize and make decisions about certain issues.

Glad Popshops is taking the time to work the bugs out before releasing. A buggy search doesn't really benefit visitors. I'm looking forward to adding the search feature to my sites when it becomes available. Keep us posted Jessie and thanks PS for working on another great feature.
