    Jimmy Johnson's Dream Season - $6.7 mil
NASCAR driver Jimmy Johnson ended the season as the Nextel cup champion today and was handed a check for $6.7 million. Are we in the wrong biz? lol

Best thing is, he is a truly nice guy and donated a ton of money this year, and got sponsors and tracks to match his donations. Not peanuts either, but millions.

I was shocked that Jeff Gordon didn't try to take the lead on the last 50 laps to get the lap points and win the championship. He was -77 right up to the end and I thought he might have yielded to his teammate. I didn't get to see the winners circle but read that you could see he wasn't happy.

Earnhart Jr also had a disappointing day but can't wait to see what he can do next season.

I don't think Jeff would have been told to hang back. They are on the same team, so no matter who won it would have been good.

Jimmy Johnson is the certified TRUTH. I don't watch racing often but ever since last year, I have just watched how Jimmy is making history each and every time he is racing and it is just different WATCHING history vs. HEARING about it. I have thoroughly enjoyed racing this year.

It definitely was a more competitive season and I wish I still had tickets to Michigan. Guess I can make a road trip to las Vegas or Phoenix!
