Unfortunately for him, he didn't learn that playing Soccer. It's surely from prior years of being VERY good (possibly competition-winning good) at Hackeysack, specifically Footbag Freestyle. This single-player game was just getting to be a fad during my last year of high school, so I recognize the moves. I didn't think I'd see anyone doing it anymore, much less with any skill!

The hackeysack that most people used was just about the size of that paper wad, that's why he could make the switch so easily. (If you play the video on the wiki page, you'll see that the ball in the still preview is NOT the actual hackeysack--the one they really play with is quite tiny for this kind of a ball game...)

Even though there are group versions of the game, the one everyone was playing back in the mid-late 80s was the single-player freestyle version where showing off tricks (and having fun) was the objective.

Yeah, that wasn't real. Nice editing. And definitely hacky sack, never played that, played soccer. And when I played soccer, before practice we did something like that with the soccer ball, a little game called luftball.

    Looks legit to me...

Luftball, I wouldn't know...the only time I played soccer was in 6th grade, and nobody had any skill at all since none of us had played it before, and just getting the ball to come somewhat straight up off the ground was a Big Deal LOL

Yup it looked real. But not a paper ball, lol. Paper wouldn't bounce off the water cooler like that.

And the ending was.... I could have done without seeing that.... lol....

    That ending shocked me.

I can't even say anything else.
