Anybody with good taste thinks they're ugly, so I think it's the majority.

I thought so too. But then my mom got me some to try and they're so comfy! So, I can overlook the aesthetics.-Don't criticize anyone til you've walked a mile in their shoes. Then when you do criticize them, you'll be a mile away and have their shoes.

I got a pair for free and they're easily the most comfortable shoes I've worn. Luckily mine are all black. The colored ones are ugly and shouldn't be worn by anyone over 12.

I always have two equal thought processes when I note another persons choice of attire.
1.) what I (personally) think of how it looks on them. followed by...
2.) respect for each individuals choice to wear what they are comfortable wearing.
While I may not personally like the way something looks on someone, ultimately if he/she is comfortable wearing it, I say - have at it - and I respect their individuality.
Where we are talking about hot selling products, I'm not concerned about looks, only how I can get in on a share of the market. I guess when I retire from marketing I can always become a fashion critic to fill my spare time between fishing and golf trips.
