Question Cyber Monday - Reality or Myth?
I know the article is a year-old, but still... an interesting and useful read.

Well, in only four more days...we'll know something. Many, many people shop online while at work. With the four-day holiday, and the Black Friday promotions and hype at the B&M stores, I believe folks will be eagerly looking forward to hitting their favorite online stores come Monday. While it may not be the biggest cyber-shopping day, it may be the one that "kicks off" the season.

    Good luck to all.

    But, for today... HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

I checked the stats of last year's Cyber monday, and guess what, there was no increase in sales, just average what i was having the other shopping days!

I actually had better traffic and sales on CyberMonday last year than Black Friday.

Did half my online shopping today, the rest will get done in scattered moments between now and Dec 18th. Probably none on Monday. Does anyone here actually "plan" to shop online on Monday?

"The retail federation estimates that holiday sales this year will rise 4 percent to $474.5 billion. Only about 7 percent of that spending occurs online."

But reports today show actual retail sales down 3.5%.
