    My personal opinion would be:
    D Product Showcase Creator ( affsolutions.com)

Perhaps you'd like to use more than one option.

I like goldencan.com the best b/c it's the easiest to implement and they have wonderful tools.

DFF - I stopped using it b/c Andrew their owner seems to have bolted. What he promissed affiliates a year ago hasn't materialized. Too many critical outages (Not having back-up server, servers were stored inhouse and not offsite...so they were hacked).

Popshops - only allow affiliates to create 3 free stores and then you have to pay for service. You also get limited service with the free service and the whole system seems more sluggish then goldencan.

    PopShops

Way more faster than GoldenCan plus you can display products from more than one merchant on the next page

Maybe I'm missing something. Popshops ahs limited free service, then you have to pay a fee for usage.

goldencan.com does allow multiple merchant store creation.

"They" were hacked? Think it's the other way around. One word - Beware. Andrew's "bolt" was likely motivated by a desire to escape prosecution.

    Alan,
Sorry for the mis-information. I was just going off the psoted messages on DFF's forum and their response to critical outages and Andrew's promise to resolve future issues.

Any chance of providing more info about Andrew?

IMO the best datafeed tool is the one nobody else is using. So anything you build yourself will give you a stronger competitive edge.

GoldenCan also provides Free PHP & ASP Code where Popshops charges for the Code.

    About an url for it!

We use GoldenCan and FeedShare. We were once a very vocal fan of DFF but have dropped them like rotten fish!

I pay for PopShops which is basically the same as GoldenCan's 4th click. On GoldenCan you cannot combine more than one merchant on the same page so it cannot be used for price comparison.

Search on Datefeedfile here at abw and there is more than enough information to make a decision to stay away. No need to rehash everything. It's all in the archives.

a GoldenCAN search implementation can combine merchants on one page.

I had forgotten about search so that is a good point. The only bad thing is you don't know what results you are going to get before putting it up on your page.

I should go further and say better yet is to combine both PopShops and GoldenCan. The only reason I don't promote GoldenCan as much as I used to is the slowness of the pages loading.

    Hi Herb:

I understand what merchants are gonna show up but it would be nice if there was a way to preview the results before it went up on your site. I just tried adding a search with a page I also have PopShops on and nothing is coming up.

You can preview Golden Can pages in Arachnophilia editor. GC says you can't see them on a desktop editor but you can in Arachnophilia (an old freebie).

Actually I use the $30 plan so that I have all the extras especially using multiple affiliate ids. The pages load very quickly.
