What if there was no ABW?
It occurred to me today that the affiliate marketing industry would be a sorry place indeed if ABestWeb didn't exist. Affiliate marketers would be isolated and it truly would be the wild, wild west of industries. ABW creates an environment where we can brainstorm, share solutions to problems, howl when we come across evil-doers (affiliates, merchants and networks alike), find out about new merchants and promotions and of course gripe and brag to our hearts' content.

I'm curious what others think the affiliate marketing industry would be like if ABW didn't exist and if you think you'd have been able to be successful without this forum. I know I'd be totally lost!

I'd be on a different forum I guess. Internet marketing and internet marketing forums walk down the street hand-in-hand. I don't think I want to know life any other way :P

I too am a big supporter of ABW on many levels. However your request is for opinions about what our affiliate world would be like if ABW did not exist. If ABW were not here, undoubtedly another forum would emerge or someone would create one. The affiliate community is indeed fortunate to have ABW as a gathering spot for those of us who actually interact here but where there is need / opportunity / demand, there is also entrepreneurship.

I remember the list of "existing" forums that CJ recommended to visitors after they closed their forum and after seeing the dismal track record and the lack of ethics of most of them as well as the "competitors" that have come and gone, I'm actually glad and most importantly proud that we were and continue to be here to help one and all.

    Happy Cyber Monday!

I dont think we've yet seen the full potential of ABW. There is so much here that hasn't been tapped into that it's mind blowing. So no, I can't imagine affiliate marketing without ABestWeb.

Without ABW, I would probably still be lost, because this forum has helped me in so many ways it's not even funny. I've learned pretty much everything about affiliate marketing from this forum, and because I've taken the time to read, read, and read some more, my knowledge continues to grow.
