    Here is an exchange with a CJ merchant. The merchant only shipped 2 out of 3 items ordered
    from my referral but reversed my entire commission.

    They shipped $174 worth of merchandise (instead of $212.00) as a result of my referral. owes me a commission of 12% of the amount shipped totaling $20.88.
    They have not paid me anything and CJ's Reports show they do not acknowledge they owe me a commission.
    Also note I made this inquiry to the merchant in July and just received a response.

    I am just wondering how many CJ merchants pull this commission stunt on us.

    That order was reversed because we were sold out of one of the items and were waiting for a response from the customer on what to do- Then we only shipped 2 out of the 3 items. We only shipped $174 worth of merchandise. Is there a way to change the price instead of reversing the transaction? Please let me know.

    Simply amazing. Some of these merchants just kill me. Don't you just love it when they ask you as the affliate how the CJ merchant interface works and how to use it? Like affiliates have access to that system and use it every day.

    Merchants, if you are going to run an affiliate program then it is your responsibilty to know how to use the technology provided by the network. Don't ask your affiliates how to do it. If you don't know, find out from the network!

    Todd is fully aware of this type of Non-compliance and even said he would have "Compliance look into my concerns"

    Also Cynthia at Graffiti Online KNOWS she
    can Credit an affiliate for partial shipments.
    She obviously is Not taking the initiative
    to call CJ and find out How.

    I pulled Graffiti Online Because of this
    situation. I'm sure there are Many other
    Advertisers doing this!

    I guess CJ just doesn't care they are losing

    I think we need a new forum:

    How to be a Good CJ Merchant! I have encountered many merchants that do not have a clue! It would be nice if instead of trying to teach merchants individually, we could just point them to a forum. Could include such topics as: Why advanced redirection is beneficial to both the merchant and publisher etc, etc...

    Just a suggestion.

    Great idea - no telling how much we have been stiffed cause merchants don't know how to process.

    Also need a forum (probably private) for CJ
    employees. They are currently similiar to
    government burearatic organizations that I've
    had the misfortune to deal with. ie, their first
    response is "NO"

    For all CJ Affiliates:

    Yes, there is a way for merchants to credit a partial order. The problem is that merchant's do not know how to do it.

    The way to credit a partial order is to reverse the original sale and record the affiliate ID. Click the Manual Transaction option when viewing the transaction report. Enter the affiliate ID and the corrected sale amount and the affiliate gets the correct commission!

    The problem is that CJ does not educate merchants and merchants don't care.
