Google Product Search (formally Froogle) items not showing up in search
    Hey everyone,

I have uploaded a bulk file of my products to Google Base. Except for a few errors, Base says that 386 of my items are Published and searchable.

However, I cannot always find my products through Google Product Search, even when I copy and paste my product names exactly.

Has anyone else experienced similar woes?

Thanks for any help in advance,

Are you a merchant or affiliate?

If you are an affiliate, google will ignore your feed. If you have some on products on there, you are lucky as you might have slipped through the cracks.

If you are a merchant, when I was working with Froogle, they used to have an email address that I can contact them and their avg response time was about 3-4 business days.

    all the best

    I'm assuming you've uploaded a merchant feed.

New feeds aren't REALLY "published and searchable" for a few days, no matter what their automated screen says. I think there's a secret probationary period, probably to give them time to make sure that you're not going to do a bait-and-switch on them. Once they decide to trust you, then the actual-time-to-live improves a lot.

They don't SAY there's any delay or probational period, as far as I know. But that's what I've experienced.

@Eric -- I am a merchant, trying to sell my own products. (well, I do admit I have mixed in a few affiliate products that are similar... maybe that's why)

@Leader -- I've had several of my products online and searchable before this most recent upload. I'm not sure why they would choose the Holiday season not to trust me.

    Thanks for the help guys.
