Site advisor says about this merchant:
"After entering our e-mail address on this site, we received 20 e-mails per week. They were very spammy."
If you want to gasp, see the site advisor page on this merchant:

IMHO those are spoofed emails due to a "hole" in the MyBambino mailing list/form.
Either that or a very sneaky competitor trying to badmouth the competition. But most likely a case of email spoofing. Did they check the full headers on the emails?

I told Don at My Bambino about that problem back in August. It just sends more searchers to the jewelry store guy. McAfee has a place where the site owner can refute any spurious complaints and I gave him the information to do that. McAfee is not 100% accurate, I have seen a few instances such as CNET where McAfee complains about "spam" after signing up for a newsletter.

I assume the way SiteAdvisor works is that they use a unique email address for each website that they test, and nobody is given that email address other than the website they're testing. That makes it hard for a competitor or anyone else to sabotage the SiteAdvisor results by spoofing email headers or using any other method.
My guess is that the problem is due to poor spam filtering by MyBambino's mailing list provider. I just signed up today, and I'll let you know in a few days whether I get any spam and hopefully also where it's coming from.
