I have vista and have no problems with graphics loading at all.

Of course I have A HP computer. Maybe that's why.

Your title is mis leading as this has nothing to do with how fast graphics download on a webpage.

This is a tweak to allow you to download more files than the current limit allows.

It won't make your browsing experience faster, it won't load images faster.

Same thing can be done on OS X, Linux and any other OS provided the browser allows for it.

Well, according to HP...it does have something to do with it...

    quote from HP:

"In this demonstration, you'll learn how to edit the Windows Vista registry to increase the number of files your browser can download from a Web server at one time. The default is two. By increasing that number, you can get noticeably better response time when browsing Web pages with a lot of images."

    HP is full of crap.

Don't you find it odd that the number of files your browser can download is 2. That's kind of interesting since I have 4 or 5 tabs open each downloading a webpage and all finish around the same time.

HP is confusing the amount of Files you can download as in .exe files with the images your browser can download when it displays a page.

Try downloading 3 .exe or .zip files from the same server.

2 will start the 3rd will appear to hang until one of the first two finishes.

Try downloading several .exe or zip friles from multiple servers and more than 2 will download at once.

My images seem to load fine...when I have an Internet connection. My biggest issue with Vista is loss of my internet connection after hibernating or reboot. Usually, once connected the speed is fine.
