    Transfer CJ Account
I'm planning to move out of US. So I contacted CJ and they told me I need to close my current account and open a new one with my new address. The problem with that is I already joined many affiliate programs, and to rejoin them again takes time, and some of them even auto reject. I am wondering if anybody has experience this and know a way to transfer the current affiliate program to the new one without having to contact each one of them. Also, what are the criteria for the merchant to auto reject some applications? Is it based on location of the applicant, the website, or something else ? Any advice would be very appreciated.

wow that sucks. Imagine if someone was working with over 1000 merchants and having to change all the links. I don't see why they can't just change your address.

Yup. That also happen to my friend he was able to change the address to Indonesia from US simply by just calling the client support. But it was 2 years ago, I guess they changed the rule now.

I am also planning to move from US to Indonesia.

Have you asked CJ why you can't just change your address? I'd love to know why you would have to open an entirely new account and have to go through hoops just for moving out of the country.

    Makes no sense.

Get a reputable and secure "address" service in the US....

Probably ranges from $20/m(like UPS Store) to $200+/m(Like Regus + Phone service)....

I'd double-check with another rep at CJ to make sure you didn't just get a clueless newb the first time.

If it turns out that they'd really require a new account, then what Delsol said.
