    Question Gift Certificates at CafePress
I haven't seen any mention of CP's new Gift Certificates here. I am wondering if having those has really disuaded affiliates from promoting CP items, as I was told would happen.
    Any feedback?

I guess if we don't already know what "GC" or "CP" are in your thread title, we don't need to know, right?

I'm able to tell from reading your post that "GC" is your abbreviation for "Gift Certificates." I suppose if I did more with Commission Junction, I'd know what "CP" is supposed to mean?

If you really want feedback on a post, it would be wise to make it a bit more user friendly without all the abbreviations.

Or maybe it's just a lack of knowledge on my part? I dunno.

So -- what IS "CP" in this case?

    BGryphon and writerguy,

CP is Cafe Press, but the majoriy of people here, when they see "GC" will assume it refers to not gift certificates, but Golden Can.

GC is gift certificates and CP is CafePress in this thread. I made the same mistake when I was new here too - I assumed because I was heavily into CafePress and print on demand that everyone must know about them and be familiar with the "CP" designation

Anyway... I haven't been promoting CafePress and their launch of the VERY limited-functionality gift certificates hasn't persuaded me to change my mind. In fact, if anything, it's yet another reason to not start promoting them.

Thank you all for the feedback... I now have some new things to read up on (Golden Can for sure). Hectic, I suspect the new program isn't much talked about because few dedicated (serious? full-time? ) affiliates are doing anything with it. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to find that there is now an even higher percentage of affiliate program sales at CafePress to be CP Shopkeepers. I know that many of us are using CJ links in our non-CP web-sites out of concern about losing revenue.
