    I guess I'm retarded...
I'm on the performics website - "get links" tab, "by advertiser", doing an alphabetical search... Nothing for the A's, nothing for the B's, C's ...T's

Everything I do returns the same thing: "Sorry, your find parameters did not match any records in our system"

I do have a login - the site knows who I am. What retarded thing am I doing wrong?

    thanks

Don't feel bad, BD - I get confused with their interface too.

    Good Morning,

I would need your publisher name to uncover why this is happening.

Please respond or PM me with the site name as well as the exact steps you are taking.

    Thanks!

PM me with your account number
It's working for me, but its possible there is still a problem lurking. I'd like to try it working in your account.

I'd also recommend trying the newest links feature (Get Links > Newest Links) which lets you look for links added in the last 7 days across the network. We're still working on making it run faster, but there is some great stuff in there that should be worth the effort.

Just to make sure, have you joined the program yet and get approved? There was something like this with another network where they were picking to get links but didn't join first.

And agree with Adam on needing some contact info in the sig.

Checking right now for me and it's working. I get the merchants I've been approved to in alphabetical order.

You can reach anyone at performics by using their first initial + last name @ performics.com or @ doubleclick.com

    joe somebody would be jsomebody@performics.com

I try not to post my email address in forums wherever possible to keep the spam factor low.

The alphabetical search isn't the only thing that's not working for me. The search field (next to the drop-down: Site/Company Name, Site URL) has never worked for me either. And I'm entering names and sites of companies that should return something. I've come to the performics site on more than one occasion from a merchant's "affiliate program" link. Target.com is one example.

I'm fine if somebody wants to email me since I don't have PM privileges yet.

    thanks,
    Brent

    bdunklau,

Could be a browser problem. I can get in using Safari, but can not run reports, among other things. I get full access if I use Firefox.

Try a different browser and see.

Joining... That's probably it. I don't know how to join.

The only thing I see related to "joining" is under the "advertisers" tab. But when I click that "join" link, I get: "[my site] has been deactivated for the network. [my site] should be approved for the network before applying to any advertiser."

So what should I do now?

    thanks

"I get: "[my site] has been deactivated for the network. [my site] should be approved for the network before applying to any advertiser."

That's the problem then. You can't join merchants and put up links, if you're not even approved into the network/were deactivated.

I just received your email and will forward to affiliate[at]performics.com which is our customer support address. I will also reply to you at the yahoo account. You need to be active in the network to join advertisers and get links.

    Thanks,
    DCP
