    PerfumeEmporium = Used Goods?
    Today I rec'd an order from Perfume Emporium -- Christmas gift of Black by K. Cole for my wife. What a surprise to open the box! The outer box has 4-5 stickly globs on it and the inside of the box has a rust-colored stain and the products themselves have sticky residue w/partial fingerprints! While I hope to be able to clean most of this up before wrapping it, I am in a state of shock at the condition of this order!!

    That doesn't sound too promising.
    Thanks for the warning.

    I don't know about you, but if I got something like that, specially something liquid like a Perfume, I sure would not use that product on my body, and much less on my wife body.

    I would try to return it, but if that is not possible, I rather lose the money I paid for it, because if the outside has some sticky residue, I would not take a chance with what is inside that bottle, who knows where that bottle have been and what weird chemical might have inside too.

    I can't believe you haven't contacted the merchant and complained ... especially if you are one of their affiliates. If that's the quality of the product they are shipping, I sure wouldn't be promoting them on my site. And I sure wouldn't hesitate to report them here and to CJ.

    Just because you bought it over the Internet, and had it mailed, doesn't mean you have to accept what you received. Did you pay for it with a credit card? Tell them you want a refund and for them to pay for shipping back. And if they won't give you a refund, then challenge the charge with your credit card company.

    The credit card company will side with you when all is said and done and refund your money and charge them back for it.

    I agree - Don't give it to your wife or you may end up with a dead wife.

    Well, that's true - especially if you have a GF and a wife.

    I used to work for a company that sold perfume. The problem sounds like it is really old and has leaked through the bottle stopper which may have had a sticky wrap around it to keep it in place. Or it leaked through the spray piece, which has a plastic that can easily corrode.

    If the perfume is not kept sitting upright, it'll eventually eat through the strip or plastic spray piece. I'd definitely ask for a refund. It makes me wonder if PerfumeEmporium buys old unsold perfume from retailers. Sure sounds like it. The scent will also get weaker and distorted (won't smell like it should) when it gets old.
