Don't be too happy about getting to the next level on anything.

Becareful what you wish for, because once you got it or get there, there is no way back.

I will give you same examples:

In the biginning, all I wanted was a bike.
But as soon as I got my first bike, I wanted to be 15, so I could drive a car.

Once I got my licence at 16, I wanted to buy a car.
But as soon as I got my car, I wanted to be 25, so I could save Ĺ the money on the insurance.

Once I got to 25, I wanted to get married and have at least 4 kids.
But...... not of your business about that!

Once I turned 40, I begun to enjoy life.
But then I wanted to be 50, in order to become a member of the AARP club and enjoy the benefits.

When I made it to 50, I wanted to be 62, in order to collect my SS checks.
But when I got to 62, they changed the retirement law to 72, so I had to wait another 10 years to receive the full benefits of retirement.

Well, now that I am 75 and looking for a cementery plot to be burried when I get to 100, All I wish now is that I was back in time with no money, no club, no wife, no car, and no bike.

I just wish I was just a again, with no worries and feeling like a again.

So........ Becareful what you wish for!

    Great advice Mr Sal!
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die
to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there
isn't and die to find out there is.

I understand your point, but I kinda disagree with this statement. I really don't think I have the same outlook on things.

I like it when I accomplish goals or move up a level, but I am more focused on enjoying the "now" part things. I am thouroughly enjoying learning something new and trying my hand at affiliate marketing, I like the challenge of it.

I am not so caught up in getting to the top, I am taking my time and enjoying the ride

It took me way tooooo many years to fully understand this, the truth in the saying "Life is a Journey".

It's the getting there and being there that is life, and what you need to savor, not the waiting and hoping for the next level, the next event, the greener grass around the next turn.

Somone said (don't remember who) you spend half your life trying to accumulate stuff and the other half trying to get rid of it.

    Congrats Jim
