    One Hit Wonder
Per title, this is definitely true.

We have lots of NEW members just joining to drop links. I know there are lots of mechanism in place to filter that out but I have seen in the INTRO FORUM.

"Hi, I am Joe Smoe from Sin City, etc" and that is the last time you see them. You get Alan, Chris and lots of ABW members jumping on and welcoming them. When you look at their public profile, that person went through the trouble of setting up his profile and a link to his site or referral program. They go missing after that.

Question, with the warm welcome given by lots of ABW members while the newbies are here to drop links, would it be a good idea to put a limit on profile for newbies?

    Edit:
Or this is an example of profile setting to drop a link

Currently the profile link for newbies is not spiderable nor public, so it is only visible to members. They get zero benefit for including it.

OK - Just thought that maybe they would leave without even making that first post if they couldn't put a link in their profile.
