    Wal-Mart Link Generator Not Working
A few weeks ago, Wal-mart introduced it's new affiliate Member Center, where you can get data feeds, RSS feeds, banners, and generate custom links to any product, and more.

Well, today the Link Generator is not working - click on "Get HTML" and it goes back to the login page.

Randy described another way to build links offline here:

I use a text editor and cut and paste in the product id or search term depending on the type of link. It's very fast.

You could also use the Bounce FireFox Extension:

It uses the method that Randy described in the post CathyM linked to above.

Earlier in the day the entire Wal-Mart site was down. I don't know how long it lasted, or if it had anything to do with your links not working.

Shoppers determine what has value and they like coupons. Stop manipulating who set the cookie just because you do not like coupon and promotional sites.

Thanks, Cathy and Michael for the info.

Leeann, it's not that links are/were not working, it's that you can not use the link generator to create links. Existing links and links taken from the LS interface, were working and still are now, though I didn't realize Wal-mart was down earlier and links would not have been working while the site was down.
