    Ticketmaster New Events Feed?
Is there a feed available that would allow me to access all of the new events say going on sale tomorrow or some date in the future?

Any updates on this? I really could use this or even a direct API to the database.

    Hey

I hope your having a good weekend

Not much of an update at the moment. It is still at the discussion phase right now and so would be a while off. In the meantime though there is an artist feed coming I believe which will at least make that area easier.

As soon as some firm timings are in place for making the API happen we will definitley let you know.

At present there is not an open API for the Ticketmaster program.

I can say TM is considering the build out of one but nothing definite has been set at this point.

Depending on what you are looking for, data wise, I would suggest using the TM data feeds.

If you have more specific questions please feel free to reach out to me via email.

I know I have asked this question before, but frustrated at finding a way to do it.

I have seen these on the web, so I know it is possible. Is there a way to generate a feed of all TM events going on sale today, by artist and venue?

There is a competitor of mine that has this on his site....it generates the the artist, venue, and the dates for that show that are going onsale....it does not look like his affiliate is in the feed link, he has it redirect to a site that adds the affiliate link to the feed link.

How is this possible? Where can I find these feeds? Obviously he is using a basic feed without the affiliate links embedded and then is adding those himself.

    Thanks for the help,

    Rod

You can also check out Livedaily.com or sister site and they usually announce these. Also check in our Product Feed area in Buyat for our Onsale soon feeds.

Thanks for the info...still trying to find a way to manipulate the feed data into a database to be used since it is not standard xml feed.

    Not really a programmer.

    Thanks again,

Rod - I've found TM's feeds to be quite standard XML. Can you elaborate?

All the feeds I use (artist, coming soon, hot tickets and venues) load right up into a .NET datatable - no prob. Then SqlBulkCopy that baby right into your DB table. But I'm a .NET guy.

    Thumbs up TicketMaster UK
    Hey all,

First timer here to abestweb. I'm currently using Joomla to work datafeeds which involves me cleaning up the ticketmaster feed and then uploading via a CSV (not sure if this is any different to XML other than the format). So far I have a niche website that deals with only two venues which means changing the VenueID was very easy to do by hand. Now I wish to make another site but changing all the VenueID's by hand is a pain. As you guys are ticketmaster experts, is there a way to change the VenueID's to the correct names?

Thanks for any help. Please keep in mind I have pretty much zero programming skills.

    Hey,

@Ticketmaster - I sent your team an e-mail about what I mentioned above.

@All - But if anyone has their own personal method or tool for doing what I said above please share.

    Thank you

    Hmmm
Well after a waiting 3 days without a reply I cant say Im too impressed that someone from Ticketmaster can trawl through forums but cant answer emails. Obviously I understand its not the same person, but still a little annoyed that I received a faster response from my affiliate manager from Buy.at (who was also on holiday) than someone at Ticketmaster. Rant Over!

If anyone does have an answer to this....preferably something simple please share with me.
