December 20th, 2007, 10:35 PM #1GRAND Milestone - 1000 Posts - Thank You, ABW Colleagues
Earlier today Liquidate sent me a PM with congrats on being close to 1000 posts. His heads-up got me to thinking about the two years I've been participating and interacting with all of you fine folks here at ABW.
The 1000 posts may be a posting milestone, but more importantly you all have helped me attain other goals in this business far sooner than I though possible. For that I seriously thank each and every one of you who help to make this forum a great place to learn and to share; and to receive support and encouragement.
I consider myself fortunate to have made friendships online that I was able to strengthen at Affiliate Summit and Think Tank. I now have friends and colleagues over much of the world - from St. Petersburg to San Diego, Vancouver to Orlando, Miami to Las Vegas, and even in my own back yard, the Baltimore/Washington metro area. Oops, can't forget Sue in Switzerland or the fishermen in Texas and Colorado, and other folks in places too numerous to mention. (Thank you, also, for being so gracious to Mrs. Beachy in Miami and Scottsdale.)
I hope to see many of you in Las Vegas in February. But, for now, I just want to say, "Thank You," and wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. May 2008 be wonderful for each and every one of you.
Beachy / Bill

You always have something interesting and relevant to add, and I really enjoy reading your posts, and look forward to the next several thousand.
As an aside, I also enjoy your Baltimore references and the pictures you post here and have on sites you've had in the review forum, which always cause me to lament the fact that years ago I passed through Baltimore twice, but without the time available to actually experience any of the sites.

Congratulations on your 1000th one, B.!!
I consider myself fortunate to have met you. It's funny how it is with some ABW-ers (affiliates or AMs). I don't work with them (unfortunately, our fields of interest haven't crossed yet), but they are terrific people to know. You are definitely one of them, B.

Awww...<BLUSH></BLUSH>...thank you, all, for the kind remarks.
@ Kim - "Enthusiasm" is a great attribute that is exhibited by many, many ABW members, with you being a prime example. Most of the folks we have met in Affiliate Marketing have enthusiasm in abundance.
@ Geno - Russia, of course, but somehow I feel you knew the answer. (It seems I should also know someone from the "Florida version" as well.)
Our current fields of "marketing" interest have not yet meshed but we do have other interests in common, and I am sure one day we will work together on a program. If you ever represent a hotel merchant with a while label program, good East Coast (US) inventory and a decent commission structure, be sure to call me first.
