    PM Messages via email
    Hello,
I do know there is a forum rule of minimum 250 posts required for PM option enabling, but can you please consider sending complete messages via email when someone sends us a PM.

Currently i have no posts and i already recieved a PM but i cannot read it, may be a option where i can read a PM and contact the sender back using the email feature.

The current way the sender feels that the reciptant is ignorant and not replying

Let me know what do you think?
    Regards
    DwsBrains

Been away, now I'm back. Not as much, but I'm back & starting from scratch. Where I was, was fantastic. Where I am now, less so. Things have changed, become harder. So have I. Game ON!!!

Actually, there is a rule about speculating what the number of posts is to get PM privileges.

Most regular users here know that newbies can't receive PM's, but unfortunately, it still happens.

I think a better solution would be to prevent the sender from sending a PM to a user who hasn't earned the privilege to read it.

Agree - at least that way we wouldn't have posts about "Why can't I read my PMS!"

Okay, I'm still using the old rule book....guess I need to get out the big red pen and make some changes. Thanks for updating this poor moderator who needs to pay closer attention.

Sending the text of the PM in an email would basically invalidate the private nature of the message as email is not a secure medium.

Yes, an alert notifying the sender if a recipient maybe ineligible should be in place, I will work on something.
