    Costco hot dogs
You know me, big fan of weenies!

From the Costco 2007 Annual Report:
"And lest we forget, in fiscal 2007 Costco members purchased a record 78 million hot dog and soda combinations at $1.50 each, a price held constant since 1985."

That's $117m in hot dog and soda combos!

Though I did notice, that in Canada, the hot dog/soda combos are actually priced at $1.99. Personally, I think that's cause for rebellion.
    best,

Do you prefer the coctail size, regular, bun size or the foot longs?

    Carolyn,

I was appalled, speechless, dumb-founded, shocked, taken aback, disheartened, angry to see this.

I'll avoid the all too predictable weenie associations, but I was appalled to hear that Canada is gouging customers for another $0.49. Where does it end with you Canada? IS there no moral compass up there? First socialized medicine, and now a weenie windfall profit scheme?? Shame on you Canucks!! The wisdom of the people of South Park seems to be playing out like a prophecy! Blame Canada, Blame Canada!!

Their hotdogs are quite good, and lets not forget the $1.50 price includes a refill! (At least here in Florida)

Here is Sin City our residents voted Costco as the #1 place to get hot dogs in town. Pesonally, I like them . . . but not THAT much!

Meanwhile, I just heard that Costco is now only accepting EUROs as payment from vendors or whoever pays them, (not from consumers thank God LOL) which I think is very un-American and not at all cool.

Might have to give up their dogs until they figure out their priorities. Hrumph!

Wow - that must be the secret on how they kept the prices the same from 1985 at $1.50. All the while the dollar depreciated more than 100% and the inflation another 100%.

First, I could not believe how the price stayed the same at $1.50 since 1985. Now, they must be doing something right with their currency hedging. LOL

I do have a shameless plug for Johnnys Lunch.

You'll see them popping across the United States over the next few years as they did ink the largest initial franchise deal in History for fast food restuarants.

Three Hot Dogs for under $3 dollars

check them out if you get a chance and let me know how they taste.
