Question Looking for a Toddler Pillow
...and all of the ones that I'm finding are 3 inches high, or around that.

I am looking for one that would be 1.5 or 2 inches (at max) high.

Could anyone advice me where to get one (offline, or online), please?

    Many thanks in advance.

I've seen small 'travel' pillows for children at Walgreen's and I'm pretty sure there are Walgreen's stores all over the place. The pillows are about 8x12x2".

Geno, Penney's has children's pillows (probably online and off), and these have always looked interesting:

Down pillows have a lot of "sink" to them, so they don't hold the head and neck in an artificial position. When my daughter had an injury, she had to get herself a down pillow to use instead of foam.

I have that pillow now, it's incredible. Not for propping up against the headboard for reading in bed, but for sleeping on at night.

Thank you, 2busy, Marcia and purplebear (for the PM)!

Will look into the options you have suggested.

If anyone else has any suggestions, feel free to post too.

    Thanks again.

    Hi Geno,

We tried some expensive toddler pillows, they were nice with a soft flannel covering, but to be honest, they were too thick for our bunch. We ended up buying travel pillows from Walmart along with the correct sized zip covers (which we kept closed with diaper pins) oh, and they go through the wash great!

.....reminds me of the day that Patience managed to get herself under the sheet in her crib and freaked out

I've looked through a few of these at Burlington Coat Factory today, and they were tiny... Will keep looking. Thanks for your post, T.J.

When my kids were toddlers (seems like yesterday!) I found the best pillows for them were inexpensive hypoallergenic foam pillows from Target. They are not too thick for little children. After a few months I would buy new and the old ones would become their floor/play pillows.

I also found that travel pillows were too small. Memory foam pillows are nice but many may be a tad thick for a toddler. There is a great memory foam pillow that is actually a 2 piece set, a feather or hypoallergenic soft half and a memory foam half that are in a zippered case. Either half might be a nice option. My 10 year old daughter swiped mine. I got it for ~ $100-140 . My son (now 8) used to get massive nose bleeds so expensive pillows were out of the question for him. He used to sleep thru the nose bleeds and would actually soak thru pillows down to mattress! Thankfully the frequency has decreased and he now wakes when it starts bleeding.
