Does anyone know what LS's current policy is regarding their merchants joining other networks while still remaing at LS? What about moving from LS to another network? What's LS's policy regarding that, if any?

The last I checked, LinkShare requires an exclusive contract. You cannot be on any other affiliate network if you are a merchant on LinkShare.Paula

Linkshare contacted me a few weeks ago and they still require an exclusive contract with merchants.

I helped signed up a merchant on both LS and SAS and they were fine for about six months until merchant decided to stay with LS only. This was over year ago but I think they really still prefer exclusive contracts.

I believe they still require exclusivity, but there is much more flexibility with the program switch over, such as allowing a 30 day window for link changing, whether the merchant is coming on to the LS platform or leaving.

Thanks for the information. I had a general idea of their rules but was wondering what was current.

some merchants are on multiple networks including LS: i.e. that "exclusivity rule" does have exceptions...

South Beach Diet and those programs are in LinkShare and a few CPA networks. Not sure why they left CJ for LS, if they have no problem being in more than one network.
