We're expecting around 2,500.

As far as a big party, there are some companies trying to put one together.

For the record, those guys were out of control, I set down with the AClens crew and had the opportunity to see those guys make complete asses of themselves. Those are the kinds of shenanigans that could have an old Kentucky boy handing out etiquette lessons.

I Just Reserved a table (Hopefully the Pope's Table) at Buca Di Beppo, for Sunday night. This place is 4 blocks away from the RIO. It is Italian food Family style.(perfect for networking).

I have eaten at two Buca's (chain) including this one, earlier this year.

My avatar was taken in this place, at the kitchen table.

The dishes are BIG. You usually order too much food, I think that is their business model.

MUST BE 21 TO ATTEND:
No one under the age of 21, including children in strollers accompanying their parents, will be admitted. No refunds will be provided to underage registrants.

I saw that info, and that is why I was asking. There is conflicting information at that url. Above those lines you quoted, the official A.S. West 2008 site says:

"Business card and photo id required for admission. No one under 18 admitted, including infants and toddlers. "

I realize I probably couldnt legally attend events in the casino or with an open bar, but I was asking more if there are informal things outside of the "official" convention that I could get in to if I bought a summit pass (like the SaS party) or if everything there is strictly part of the 21 and over agenda.

Oh well, probably not and will have to send someone else... darnit... Hopefully will meet you all sometime though, maybe by A.S. East I'll be of age?

Hey Julia,

Yes, attendees of Affiliate Summit, must be 21 years of age. It stinks, I know, but it has to do with our Liability Insurance and the Rio Terms and Conditions. We have to follow the regulations in order to be compliant.

I'll go through the site and take a look for the statement that you're referring to and make the modification there as well.

I spoke with Share a Sale and they told me you should eat before you go to the party, since they will not be serving dinner. Even if one does get an invitation you are going to want to eat, before the party.

Good advice - I don't remember a lot of appies floating around at the South Beach fiesta. The scale of the event was a little too big for that.

Brian throws a great party and if you can get an invite, I recommend it.
