The Role:

The Internal Affiliate Coordinator will be responsible for promoting Birthday in a Box through strategic partnerships with internal affiliates (i.e. sister companies that link their websites to Birthday in a Box to increase revenue for Kaboose, Inc). This will entail managing relationships and maintaining communication with all appropriate internal partners, creating new party content with contextual links, updating existing content and links as necessary, and identifying new internal marketing opportunities.

This is a great opportunity for a talented individual to build his/her experience and growth as a professional. The candidate will gain invaluable insight into and experience with Internet marketing and advertising, writing for the Web, and Affiliate management.

Position Responsibilities:
• Provide internal affiliate partners with product, promotion and pricing information on a timely basis.
• Maintain relationships with internal partners through regular communication via email, phone and newsletters.
• Solicit feedback to maximize impact of partnerships.
• Research, create, proofread, and manage content promoting Birthday in a Box on the internal partners’ websites and in their newsletters.
• Provide timely and accurate reporting and analysis of online marketing efforts using Omniture, Google Analytics, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and other internal tools.
• Update/replace contextual links on the internal partners’ websites as products or pages become unavailable.
• Regularly review content on all internal partner websites for new linking opportunities.
• Coordinate with other editors and managers to ensure that all links to Birthday in a Box are set up properly.

• Must have a strong and independent voice
• Ability to share passion and build high-energy professional relationships
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Strong Excel and statistical analysis skills

Requirements:
• College degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in Web marketing and/or website management. Partner marketing is an asset.
• Retail affiliate and/or merchandising experience preferred.
• Content Management System experience is a plus.
• Search Engine Optimization experience preferred.

This is a regular, full-time exempt position. No relocation is available.
