Well, I tried calling in with Skype so I could record it and listen later on - because my dear, dear child was not going to let me participate. But Skype crashed. Several times. Don't know what the cause was.

I was very happy to be filled in on the CJ class action settlement. With everything else I'm working on at the moment, I hadn't even had a glance at it yet.

Quite disturbing.

It was nice to hear opinions about the most important events going on in the industry right now. I think I heard somewhere about 10% of the affiliates driving 90% of the sales. That means 90% of the affiliates are so financially small that they feel their voice means nothing when up against the giants. Collectively though, that's a different story and this is what Affiliate Voice can accomplish.

Equal representation of affiliates regardless of size. There was no reach requirement to the call today. No popularity contest either. Everyone was invited. I like the concept and that is why I like ABW too. If you post, you have a voice. If not, you let others determine what topics are going to be covered.

Get active, contribute, collaborate. Text or voice...in person or over video messenger. It doesn't matter how you do it, just be a part of solving the problems that face the industry today.

Thanks for arranging the call, Haiko. It gave great insight as to what needs to be in focus for all of us.
